Install and Register

The new version of VideoSolo Video Converter Ultimate provides both a free trial version and paid full version. The free trial version can be downloaded from the button above. You can evaluate the program to see whether it meets your demand.

Please note that this guide is only for Windows version.

But there are a few limitations with the free trial version, which include:

  • You can convert 5 minutes of every file.
  • The Ultrafast Conversion and batch conversion are not available.
  • The MV themes are limited.
  • You can use the “Media Metadata Editor”, “Video Compressor”, “GIF Maker”, “3D Maker” and “Video Enhancer” for 5 files respectively.

Convert Video/Audio

Step 1. Add Files

To add video/audio files into the program, there are 3 ways:

(1) Click the “Add Files” button at the top left to browse your computer’s folders and select the file(s) you want.

(2) Click the “+” button on the main interface to select files from the computer.

(3) Drag-and-drop the video/audio files from your computer into the main window.

Step 2. Select Output Format

Next, you need to select the output format for the videos you want to convert. You can click the drop-down icon of the “Convert All to” and it will pop up a window where offers 200+ popular video/audio formats and preset devices. Then, choose the output format you need from the list. If you want to set different output format for different files, you can set it one-by-one by clicking the icon on the far right of each file list.

Step 3. Change the Output Folder Path

Go to “Save to” on the bottom of the main interface and here you can select a folder for your converted files. Otherwise, the converted file will be saved to the default output folder.

Step 4. Convert Video/Audio Files

Simply click the “Convert All” button to begin the conversion process. Once the conversion finished, you can switch to “Converted” section and click the “Open Folder” icon to find the converted files.

Tip: You’re able to change the maximum number of convert tasks to improve the speed of conversion. Click on the “Gear ” icon > select “All settings” > go to “Convert” > set the “Convert tasks”.

Edit Video

Step 1. Cut/Split the Video/Audio Files

Click the “Cut” icon and you’ll go to the “Cut” window.

Next, choose the start and end time for your clip. You can drag the clipper or enter the time directly. Then click the “Add Segment” button to add the current clip to the list.

Also, you can directly click the “Split” icon to cut the whole file into 2 video clips.

Step 2. Do the Basic Editing

Open the “Editing” window by clicking the “Edit” icon.

On the pop-up window, you are able to crop, rotate video, or add effects, watermark, subtitle to your video.

Step 3. Merge Files

If you want to merge two or more files into one, you can enable the “Merge into one file” option on the main interface.

Toolbox

Media Metadata Editor

Go to “Toolbox” and select “Media Metadata Editor”. Now click the “+” button to add the file which you want to edit the metadata information. Please note that the Media Metadata Editor now only supports MP4, M4A, M4R, M4B, M4P, 3G2, M4V, MOV, MP3, WMA, ASF, WMV, WAV, AVI.

After you added the file, you can edit the metadata information like Title, Artist, Album, Composer, Genre and the Cover. Finally, you need to click “Save” button to save the information you edit.

Video Compressor

Select “Video Compressor” from the “Toolbox” tab. Also, you need to click the “+” button to add the file which you want to compress.

Then, you can adjust the output file size, the format and the resolution to the value you like. But you should know that the file size related to the video/audio quality. The video/audio quality will become poor after you compress the file.

After you finished the settings, you can click on the “Compress” button to start the process.

GIF Maker

Open the “GIF Maker” on the “Toolbox” tab. Then add the video file via clicking the “+” button.

Next, you can cut the video file to get the video clip you need. Then you are able to use the build-in editor to crop, rotate or add effect, watermark to the video clip.

If you don’t need to do the editing, you can directly set the frame rate and generate the GIF animation by clicking the “Generate GIF” button.

3D Maker

It allows you to reate 2D video from 3D. You can customize the anaglyph, format, depth, quality of the video clip. If you want, you can split the screen side by side or top and bottom.

Video Enhancer

You can improve the video quality by upscaling resolution, optimizing brightness and contrast, removing video noise, and reducing video shaking.

MV Maker

Step 1

Navigate to the MV tab and click the “+” button or drag the media files into the MV maker.

Step 2

You can edit the video by rotating and cropping, adding watermarks, effects and filters.

If the videos are too long, you trim and save the video clips you need. After trimming, you adjust the position of each clip.

Theme:

If you are using the full version of the program, you can use all the preset MV themes. That means you can make a professional and beautiful video in one click.

Setting:

Add the start and end title to your MV. You can set the font and color of the titles.

Edit the background music by yourself. You can disable the original sound of the video and add new music to the video.

Export:

Before export, you can set the name, format, frame rate, resolution, quality, and saving path of the video. Click Start Export to output the video.

Video Collage

Template:

Choose the template you want and add more than one videos to it. The templates are different in size and shape. Some of the template shapes are so special that you can make a unique video collage by yourself.

Filter:

Add a preset filter to the whole video collage. There are more than 50 filters you can choose from. Different filters can help you change the style of the video collage.

Audio:

Keep the original audio or add the background music you like. You can set the play mode like Loop play, Fade in, or Fade out.

Export:

Before export, you can rename the file, set the format, frame rate, resolution, quality, and saving path of the video. Click Start Export to output the video.
